The birds were done 3 years ago, and the flowers done last friday at Affinity Tattoo in Austin, Texas. These are 2/3 of my tattoos. Ignore the ugly bruise on my upper arm! :)
This is it . My first , and the start to my addiction . It reads “and you will learn to fly again, and you will fly” Quoted from Ed Freeman’s poem The Angel . It was done by Mike Asfour at Aces High Tattoo Shop in West Palm Beach Florida . This tattoo holds so much meaning and truly tells a story of my past . I wouldn’t change a thing about it . <3
“Come on now and now my love, and leave your dying desert to the rain. Give up your treasured wounds, let go of the tempting pain. Give up the vows you’ve taken and you will live and you will learn to fly again, and you will fly. And you will live my love and see the stars regain your starless night and you will find your sun and know the magic of it’s light. All souls will be yours to cherish, rising, falling in their earthly flight. And you will fly.”
I’ve always seen bears as a powerful protective animal. That’s why it’s placed over my heart. The wolf represents the people who try to fuck me over, and it’s not getting through that bear. If you catch my drift. This was done at long trail tattoo in Rutland Vermont by a woman named Aubree.
